Dear Respected Producers, Directors and Distributors of the The Love Guru:
Please accept my humble reverences. As the founder of the Ramakrishnananda Yoga Vedanta Mission and as a minister and preacher within the Sanatana Dharma religion, I wish to express my most vehement repudiation of your film The Love Guru.
A few days ago I had the opportunity to see the trailer for this movie and found that it offends the most intimate religious feelings of millions of Hindus in the United States and in the world. It is a clear expression of a colonialist mindset, complete with an unfounded superiority complex that considers religions to be true only if they are based on the Holy Bible, a practice that marginalizes religions such as the sacred Sanatana Dharma as a sect or cult. Portraying rabbis, priests and pastors as the only authentic religious leaders demeans the holy preachers of Hinduism. This movie is another offense against our religion, a clear expression of anti-Hinduism, which grow more common and acceptable in the media and on the internet.
I wish to express my denunciation of anti-Hindu attitudes wherever they may appear.
Your ever well wisher
H.H. Swami Ramakrishnananda

This movie is indeed an insult to the Hindu religion at large. It should be banned from all cinemas.
I keep telling to anyone I know, not to go to see this movie.

This movie is an attack of exactly the type of “self-acclaimed” gurus such as Ramakrishnananda swami, aka vishnupada aka shaktipada aka rabeinu aka hartzion. A wonderful movie, Ramakrishnananda’s response only confirms his falsehood.

This movie is such a big time mockery on our Hindu religion. How come other religion are never choosen to make fun of? How come they find it so easy to pick Hindu religion? It’s about time we hindus wake up and do something about it !!!

Rahul, actually, aspects of Christianity have been satirized and adapted in most of the arts and in ways some Christians don’t like.
My own feeling is that we should allow freedom of expression. And that includes voices saying they don’t like something, and why.
I say this because I believe God is creative beyond our wildest imaginations.

The Hindu Dharma Sabha Of South Africa is totally opposed to the screening of this film. It is a mockery of our religion. The producers of the film should be sensitive and display tolerance and understanding before embarking in the making of such an insulting film. Will the producers insult Christianity? It’s time Hindus convey their disgust at these foolish, dumb wits!

Hindus have always been tolerant towards every one on this earth of which everybody are taking advantage and trying to dehonour and mock the Hindu beliefs. Understanding Hinduism needs lot of brain, it is not a simple thing.
If one cannot understand the beliefs of others, its OK, but they have no right to disrespect or hurt other’s religios beliefs. Hindus have always been trying to spread the message of peace and love to the whole world, and getting this kind of behaviour in return is extremely hurting and condemnable. Requesting all to respect and not to hurt others in which alone lies peace.

We, the Hindus, cannot tolerate anymore this attitude of western people, that are offending our spiritual leaders.
How do they allow themselves to see only their cardinals, only their religion as respected, and to offend our religions leaders and Gurus in such a brutal way?
it is time to do something about it!

These are the rights that young people should have, but in reality, they do not. ,

Instead of investing in world class players, we have to watch Blunderous playing in the centre of the midfield, whilst Denilson and Song bumbled around and looked like charity givers at the christmas party. ,
