Microlight Flight Over Wiltshire: Frank Da Silva

An off-duty police sergeant in the UK is reported to have seen possible extraterrestrials or unusual beings on the ground near a crop circle last July 6.

According to published reports, the unidentified Wiltshire officer was driving that morning near a crop circle that had appeared a few days earlier near Silbury Hill.

Then, he spotted three human-like figures in what appeared to be white coveralls.

Crop circle researcher Andrew Russell is working with the officer in researching the incident. Russell is quoted as saying, “At first he thought they were forensic officers as they were dressed in white coveralls.”

“He stopped his car and approached the field. The figures were all over six feet and had blond hair. They seemed to be inspecting the crop,” Russell said.

As the officer stopped his car and got out, ”He shouted to the figures who, at first, ignored him, not glancing at him. When he tried to enter the field they looked up and began running,” Russell stated.

STRANGENESS STARTS

According to Russell, the officer said, “They ran faster than any man I have ever seen … I looked away for a second and when I looked back they were gone.”

The officer also reportedly noticed a crackling electrical type of noise, similar to static electricity, as he approached the crop circle.

”I then got scared,” the officer is reported to have told Russell. “The noise was still around but I got an uneasy feeling and headed for the car. For the rest of the day I had a pounding headache …”

Another crop circle researcher, Colin Andrews, is also looking into this case, according to UK news reports. Andrews is reported to have said he is ”convinced” by the officer’s report.

Andrews has reported on his Web site colinandrews.net that the three beings “were wearing one piece white suites, with hoods that had been dropped onto the back of their heads.”

He also noted that the officer was about 400 yards away when he first yelled toward the individuals.

He also wrote on his blog site that “the officer is planning to use a police sketch artist from another police authority to produce images from the experience.”

So far, there has been no mention of a UFO or unknown craft in this case.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson is quoted in news reports as saying, “The police officer was apparently off duty when this happened so we have no comment to make because it is a personal not a police matter.”

SITE HAS HISTORY

This apparently is not the first time unusual phenomena has occurred at this site.

According to researcher Andrews, “This is the same location where on the 23 May 1994, four researchers (including one nuclear scientist) visiting a crop design in this field, witnessed intense military presence moments before they each experienced 45 minutes missing time and within a short while a further period of missing time.”

“Each had red marks appear on their necks and had severe nose bleeds hours later,” he reports on colinandrews.net.

“This is also the site of a secret military surveillance during the same week as the 1990 Operation Blackbird. It was over these fields that the army filmed a large unidentified white orb,” Andrews’ Web site notes.

Andrews also pointed out that there have been “a number of very similar reports of entities in this exact field and those next door.”

He states that a previous incident involved “a very close encounter with a 8-9 feet tall being, north of Silbury Hill.”

A witness “was visited by three government officers who produced a book of sketches of different ET beings and ask the witness which one he had seen. At least two agencies were allegedly involved which should help verify this case.”

Reality UFO Series Volume 1: The Evidence is Here looks into the possibilities of alien life, expanded reality and directed human evolution.

The DVD features three different speakers at the 2003 International Scientific & Metaphysical Symposium and an interview with an American reporter on the controversial Billy Meier case.

In Part 1 a down to earth medical man, Dr. Roger K. Leir, forwards original theories about alien implants, genetic manipulation and accelerated human development.

Dr. Leir presents evidence from his alleged alien implant removal procedures along with several decades of statistics on the changing rates of child development. But as a scientist he rightly admits that he doesn’t have all the answers–just theories leading to more questions.

Part 2 introduces Travis Walton who tells of his encounter with an alien spacecraft while working as a logger in 1975. Walton says he was forcibly taken aboard and describes in detail what he saw, right down to the unusual instrumentation panels and strange, morphing star charts. Travis concludes his account by telling how he was rudely ejected from the craft, left lying face down beside a highway and having to struggle, utterly exhausted, to the nearest town.

Part 3 contains an interview with Michael Horn who provides an engaging account of the Billy Meier case. Horn summarizes Meier’s life and thought and reflects on the nature of knowledge and religious belief. Those interested in Meier, his prophecies, dire warnings and advocacy of a collective “course correction” toward a peaceful New World Order should find this segment of the DVD extremely worthwhile.

Part 4 includes Kathleen Anderson’s fast-paced presentation on UFOs, the ancient Sumerians, theories about multidimensional reality and the relativity of space and time. Anderson’s relentless questioning combined with her considerable research skills and innovative examples should compel even the most hardened skeptics, scholars and pragmatists to stop and rethink their beliefs about life and the world around us.

The Evidence is Here is essential viewing for those wanting to get the inside track on recent theories about ET and UFO phenomena as seen through the dual lens of science and spirit.

Philip Gardiner’s The Ark, The Shroud And Mary is a captivating look into the possible roots of contemporary Gnosticism.

Based on the book by the same title, the story begins with Philip Gardiner’s journey to Winchester Cathedral, where he happens to notice a carving of the Ark of the Covenant.

This sparks off some kind of realization that compels him to travel the world in search of a better understanding of mysticism.

Gardiner says that much of religion and our current belief structures are premised on the insights of mystics and he asks the controversial question: Are prophets the same as mystics? along with the related concern: Are all mystics essentially the same?

For Gardiner the answer seems to be “yes” to both of the above. Accordingly, he proposes a kind of Sufi-style definition where mysticism is seen as a ‘union of opposites.’

He then takes a journey to several different countries to learn more about his inner realization. During this time he meets up with esoteric believers and uncovers secret information that apparently links a wide variety of religious data to the all-pervasive symbol of the Ark.

His interpretation of this data is decidedly Gnostic. For instance, at one point Moses and Buddha are both described as “avatars,” a claim that would probably make many orthodox Jews and Christians, alike, shake their heads with indignation.

Gardiner also touches on the idea of Alchemy and offers an interesting explanation for the Shroud of Turin, rightly questioning the accuracy of Carbon 14 dating.

Virtually no stone is left unturned here. In fact, Gardiner uses special stones, meteors, to evidently link Islam, Judaism and Christianity.

Additional mythical and religious data in support of Gardiner’s synthesis derive from Greek and Egyptian mythology, Hinduism, Cistercian monasticism, the Knights Templar and the Essenes, to mention just a few.

Whether or not one agrees, disagrees or perhaps partly agrees with Gardiner’s perspective, the innovative audiovisuals in The Ark, The Shroud And Mary can’t be overlooked.

Serving up a rich diversity of spiritual imagery to the driving music of Soul Path, Freakhouse and others, one gets the impression that this DVD’s assemblage of sights, sounds and ideas points to the future of educational video.

A while back someone asked me at the question-and-answer site, allexperts.com, to assess Billy Meier’s claims about extraterrestrials, their alleged spacecraft and message to humanity.

Although I’d heard the name I wasn’t too well informed, so surfed the internet to find out more. This was before Wikipedia and after a few minutes it became clear that I couldn’t know enough to answer the question.

There was no way to verify or debunk Meier’s extraordinary account, so I either declined or said very little—I can’t remember exactly.

Since then, several others have asked about Meier, and my usual response is to provide the appropriate links and say something like, “well, we can’t be certain, either way.”

The other day I watched The Billy Meier Story: UFO’s and Prophecies from Outer Space and, as excellent as this film is, I’m still sitting on the fence.

This film, written and directed by Meier enthusiast Michael Horn, is one of the best Reality Films to be released in a long time. It’s clean, crisp and hip, with production values comparable to A&E, Biography, History Channel or any other mainstream media outfit.

But not only is the presentation well-organized and engaging. The content is diverse, fair and balanced, stretching back to Meier’s childhood and early days as a deserter from the French Foreign Legion, to his becoming a freewheeling traveler and acquaintance to the likes of Mahatma Gandhi and Saddam Hussein, right up to the present where his cache of firearms, kept under lock and key at his residence in Switzerland, isn’t hidden from the camera.

Although Horn makes no bones about his belief in the veracity of the Meier story along with its otherworldly and prophetic implications, he also gives ample opportunity for the skeptics to have their say. In fact, the DVD’s special features include a segment where a representative from IIGWest.org (which is aligned with the James Randi Foundation) analyzes and tentatively concludes that the Meier UFO photos and films depict man-made models instead of extraterrestrial vehicles.

This kind of unafraid reporting on the part of Horn only adds authenticity to his convictions. He seems to have great confidence in Meier’s teachings, to the extent that he’s willing to give the critics an ear and isn’t threatened nor dissuaded by their obvious lack of enthusiasm. Instead, Horn replies to Meier’s detractors with evidence and related arguments which he considers convincing.

Again, this is one of the best films from Reality Entertainment to appear in quite a while. The Billy Meier Story should be invaluable to anyone wanting to learn more about Billy Meier and his intriguing world.

Or should I say… otherworld?

Lies and Deception: UFOs and The Secret Agenda gives a balanced and informed appraisal of UFO and alleged ET phenomena.

Containing a good deal of material once hidden from public access, this DVD has something for both enthusiasts and newcomers to the area.

The film features two seasoned investigators, Timothy Good and Nick Pope, and doesn’t shy away from the tough questions.

For instance, Pope concedes that 80% of all UFO accounts can be explained away through natural causes and 15% are too sketchy to be taken seriously.

But the remaining 5%, he reminds us, come from reputable sources like commercial and military aircraft pilots and highly trained astronauts. And this 5% is just too compelling to ignore.

Covering a wide range of issues from Roswell, the politics of disinformation, ET ethics, abduction stories, hypnotherapy and animal mutations, this DVD leaves practically no stone unturned. It even asks whether so-called Reptilians inhabit human bodies.

What makes Lies and Deception different, however, is that both featured guests are intelligent, articulate and appear credible.

I found particularly interesting Good’s claim that the archetypes of contemporary ET lore are somewhat “childish” because, in his view, there’s an incredible diversity of beings out there, many of which he believes are in close proximity to the Earth and some even mingling with humanity.

Lies and Deception is innovative but it’s not an ‘anything goes’ video. Instead, different approaches and theories are assessed in light of the available evidence and all speculation is clearly identified as such.

One gets the impression that Good and Pope are extremely well connected in the field of UFO and ET research and to their credit they’re neither dismissive nor dogmatic about the mystery and intrigue which often surrounds it.

For those wanting more, the DVD includes a bonus section with Pope talking about the UK’s recent release of classified MOD documents.

Hosted by Franky Ma and Philip Gardiner, Lies and Deception is one of the best new UFO and ET videos on the market today.

Nick Pope isn’t exactly a household name. But among UFO investigators and devotees he’s become a controversial figure.

In The Man Who Left the MOD we learn that Pope joined the UK’s Ministry of Defence (MOD) in 1985.

By 1991 the MOD wanted to assess any potential threats that UFOs might pose to national security. Ready for a change, Pope took a position in the MOD’s new UFO Project.

That’s just the background. The Man Who Left the MOD probes far deeper into the history and experiences of this articulate figure in the area of UFO lore.

Some may not like the use of the term lore. But it seems appropriate as the ‘U’ in UFO stands for unidentified, and Pope is the first to uphold a question mark rather than make absolute statements about extraterrestrials and UFOs.

Indeed, Pope remains scientific throughout the interview, saying we can’t rule out ET explanations for some phenomena but also that there’s “no hard proof.”

The DVD covers a wide range of group and alleged personal sightings in the UK, US, Belgium and the former Soviet Union. Pope’s account seems to ring true with a credibility often missing in other paranormal videos. And he provides some great insider information about the technological side of the RAF, especially with regard to the pros and cons of radar.

What makes this DVD better than most, however, is its balance of tech talk and psych talk. While not falling into psychobabble, Pope offers some valuable insights in the area of mental health and UFO reports.

Having said that, his related comments on the role of interpretation in paranormal and religious experiences were slightly less satisfying. Here Pope wonders if visions of angels, the Virgin Mary, spirits and ET’s could all stem from an amorphous subatomic ground.

While interpretation likely comes into play with most extraordinary encounters, there’s arguably a more complex discussion to be had. But viewers can make up their own minds as to whether Pope’s remarks here could be further developed.

The DVD gives much attention to the well-known Rendlesham case. Here Pope explains why he felt it was a mishandled investigation. He also provides an intelligent discussion on the alleged Men in Black phenomenon.

The best part of the DVD, however, comes when interviewer Michael Bourne candidly asks if Pope is just a disinformation stooge who never really left the MOD. Pope turns to face the camera, takes a sip of water and says…

Well, you’ll just have to watch to find out.

The Man Who Left the MOD is a fast moving and informative DVD. This is one UFO film that researchers, enthusiasts and even skeptics will definitely not want to miss.

The psychiatrist Carl Jung once said that UFOs might be real but a good portion of eyewitness accounts may also be psychological projections from the collective unconscious.

Jung was writing in the 1950s during a veritable UFO craze, a time when most UFOs were depicted as disc shaped flying saucers. So Jung felt that many UFO reports were projections of the archetypal mandala, an ancient Sanskrit word for “circle” with profound spiritual and cosmological connotations.

Archetype of the UFO clearly borrows from Jung. For Jung, the archetype points to the interface of genetic, cultural and spiritual aspects of the human self. And as an archetype of wholeness, the self is often portrayed as the center and circumference of a circle.

As Jung put it:

The self is not only the centre, but also the whole circumference which embraces both conscious and unconscious; it is the centre of this totality, just as the ego is the centre of consciousness (CW 12, par. 44).

Archetype of the UFO, however, isn’t just a wrap up of Jung’s views. Rather, it extends Jung’s theory to the world of contemporary UFO theory and evidence.

The DVD offers a penetrating and intelligent analysis of diverse metaphysical issues often passed over by lesser lights within the realm of ET, UFO and paranormal debates.

While emphasizing the possible misinterpretation of so-called ‘physical’ sightings, Archetype of the UFO concedes that in many instances there may be no difference between inner and outer ET and UFO encounters. That is, the very notions of reality and truth are questioned.

Most of the DVD features an interview with Nick Pope, a respected figure in UFO lore. Pope and interviewer Philip Gardiner probe deep and compel us to think for ourselves about ETs, UFOs, mysticism, YouTube videos, disinformation, acclimatization, social power and the role of individual interpretation.

Many say it’s time for a collective course correction to save our planet at the advent of the 21st century. If so, Archetype of the UFO should be standard-issue for every seeker on the brink of making exciting discoveries about self, society and the beyond.

Reality UFO Series Volume 2 takes the viewer into the strange world of UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligences, probing deep into largely unexamined mysteries of the body, mind and beyond.

This film features four speakers.

First, Dr. Richard Boylan talks at length about the Star Kids, those supremely gifted children said to have a host of paranormal powers at their disposal.

Dr. Boylan comes across as a pleasant, sincere individual who’s merely saying it like it is. During his presentation he recites e-mail correspondences with a mother of a Star Kid, whose incredible stories will make even the most open-minded investigators rethink human potential and what, in fact, it means to be human.

Boylan also presents an alternative history of the human race, suggesting that we’re being monitored by well-intentioned and compassionate ETs whose only goal is to get things right in the universe.

His premise is that all intelligent life is intricately connected, making our Earthly actions perceptible to the far reaches of the cosmos. No wonder, then, he claims we’re being watched.

To illustrate this idea he sets up an analogy: Just as developed countries are concerned about violent activity in unstable global regions, Boylan says ETs are keeping an eye on us—especially since we’ve learned how to harness the power of the atom.

Next, Freddy Silva talks about crop circles and their transhuman possibilities. Silva is a well known expert who left everything to immerse himself in the study of the circles. He believes their odd but beautifully symmetrical designs are cosmic signs and perhaps sentinels beckoning us to respond to our inherent spirituality and greater purpose within the expanded multiverse.

After that, Peter Khoury gives a detailed and highly personal first hand account of his unconventional experiences, including an encounter with a female ET, one tinged with erotic elements.

Khoury’s candid presentation adds to his credibility. He seems like a regular guy who didn’t ask for what happened to him. Essentially, he tells of a series of UFO-related and possible abduction experiences beginning when he was 6 and a half years old.

Finally, Keith Basterfield lectures on links between UFO encounters and psi abilities. Competently covering the area, Basterfield recounts the main trends and figures through 1975 to 1999. Like all the other presenters in this film, he gives the impression of a well-rounded individual with feet planted firmly on the ground.

Altogether, Reality UFO Series Volume 2 provides comprehensive coverage of documented cases and leading theories about UFOs, ETs and the paranormal, the respective talents of the four presenters serving up a good blend of anecdotes and reported evidence.

Unlike other Reality Films, this production doesn’t use flashy graphics. But those wanting to settle in for several hours to get the facts should come away feeling like experts in the field.

When we think about space travel and activities in space, two general categories may come to mind: the conventional and unconventional.

In some ways, these two categories seem to overlap when it comes to certain scientific studies and speculation.

In the conventional category, we often first think of NASA – the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

A long series of NASA projects and endeavors over the decades has been followed closely by many Americans and people around the world.

Private companies with communications satellites in Earth orbit also come to mind when talking about conventional space activities. And now, some companies are involved in Earth-to-orbit space planes, orbiting space stations or habitats and a variety of other commercial and scientific space activities.

Unconventional space-related ideas and discussions may include theories about UFOs and intelligent visitors from other worlds.

There is also speculation that secret U.S. space activities might be much more advanced than what appears on the surface in NASA missions.

COMMON DENOMINATORS

What are useful and constructive ways to reconcile and integrate the conventional and unconventional elements of our perceptions about, and the realities of space-related operations?

It is probably fundamental to accept the fact that there are U.S. space activities that are secret and will remain secret. It is likely that many advanced technologies, aircraft and spacecraft have been developed and these will remain classified.

The idea that the U.S. might have advanced aircraft and spacecraft is not much of a stretch. In fact, if we see a UFO, it might be one of ours.

When we take this a step further in a certain direction – such as ideas about the integration of extraterrestrial technology and knowledge in secret space programs – we seem to be firmly on the unconventional wavelength and really thinking outside the box.

It may be helpful to remember that even without advanced knowledge from exotic visitors, our own human scientific knowledge, including in the aerospace field, is most likely decades ahead of where the general public thinks it is.

Advanced technologies and knowledge might be common denominators that link speculation about things like UFOs and advanced secret U.S. space activities with more conventional space projects.

These kinds of discussions touch on issues such as anti-gravity technologies and exotic methods of space travel and propulsion.

Further ideas from the unconventional realm include theories about multiple dimensions and a multiverse around us, as well as mysterious energies and forces that we do not understand.

Our scientific understanding about gravity, dark energy, wormholes, zero point energy and similar phenomena appears to be making progress, but is still quite incomplete.

Investigations into these areas of study also seem to straddle the conventional and unconventional in certain ways.

NEW ENDEAVORS

The emergence of commercial space enterprises by private companies is sure to add exciting and innovative new aspects to our perceptions about space.

One day soon we may be able to buy a ticket to depart from a commercial spaceport on a space plane that will take us into that magical area where Earth’s atmosphere merges with space.
In addition, scientists and others may be able to stay aboard commercial space stations or habitats in Earth’s orbit for weeks or months.

The evolution of these and similar efforts will likely provide valuable spin-off benefits for many aspects of our technological and economic development.

Diverse kinds of space activities by governments and private industry will probably yield all sorts of new knowledge, some of which we might have difficulty wrapping our minds around.

Some of this new understanding might have to do with the human race, human consciousness and the human condition on Earth.

Other knowledge might be gained about the possibility of intelligent civilizations from elsewhere in our galaxy or even further away.

Or, we may learn about surprising phenomena and realities very close to home.
