Title: Science of Soul: The End-Time Solar Cycle of Chaos in 2012 A.D.
Author: John Jay Harper
Director:
Philip Gardiner
Media: DVD
Producer: Reality Films
Total time: 62:25

Will humanity experience a quantum leap of consciousness around 2012 or will this be the year of our collective undoing?

Closely following his book Tranceformers: Shamans of the 21st Century, Dr. John Jay Harper’s Science of Soul: The End-Time Solar Cycle of Chaos in 2012 A.D. asks this and other compelling questions.

Science of Soul’s innovative graphics and hip soundtrack set the mood for an exploration into the mythic symbol of the axis mundi (world axis) and possible links among human DNA, psi and global transformation.

This DVD should sit well with those embracing the philosophy of natural pantheism, where the universe is taken to be God and therefore conscious.

By way of contrast, believers in theism (where God and creation are seen as ‘wholly other’) might find it challenging.

Regardless of one’s core beliefs, Science of Soul carries an ethical message that few would dispute: To love and live peacefully among ourselves.

It’s probably just a matter of time before Science of Soul’s integral approach is embraced by the equally opinionated gatekeepers of both science and religion.

But a comprehensive gelling of Big Science and Big Religion might take a little longer than most of us would like, given the deeply entrenched historical biases that continue to inform our 21st century worldview.

We shouldn’t be discouraged, however.

As a catalyst for this much-needed dialogue, Science of Soul is a definite step in the right direction.

Finding the Success in Failure

By Roy E. Klienwachter

Failure does not exist at higher levels of awareness. Failure is experienced when the mind is focused on the physical life and present circumstances.

Thomas Edison succeeded with the invention of the light bulb by eliminating all the things that didn’t work-more than a 1000 so called failures. Walt Disney created Disney Land from bankruptcy by successfully visiting over 400 banks before he found one that would lend him the money.

Neither one of these men focused on failure-in fact their minds were not focused in the physical world. Both of them had a dream and their minds were focused in the imagination where failure does not exist. It is a wonderful place where we have 100% control over the outcome, anything is possible and there are no limitations. If we stay focused we will always succeed. The so called failure comes from interpretation of the images into physical life and the failures are simply a process of elimination-taking away what does not work to get to what does work.

From the position of the silent observer (a place of quiet reflection), all steps you have taken lead you to this moment of awareness. From this place of observation there are just moments of success in the knowingness of all things are as they should be. What you perceive as failures are steps towards success. It is when you let go of the notion you have failed you will have found success. Your life can never be a failure-it always reflects your own thoughts. Even if you consider yourself a failure, you will find success in that belief. Your physical life will always demonstrate accurately what you believe. You can demonstrate what a failure looks like and be successful at it.

If you consider yourself a successful failure then it is relatively easy to move to another place. You have already arrived at where you said you now are. You were successful at getting there-at that moment of realization you can let go and begin to be successful at something else.

In your search for a certain grocery item, you stop into a store and do not find it-are you a failure or did you just make a poor choice. How would you know the store did not have the item you were searching for unless you stopped in-do you give up? You stop into three other stores and do not find what you are looking for, but you found two other items you have been searching for for months-is the trip a failure? Finally at the last stop you run into an old friend you have lost contact with-he invites you out to lunch and you order a dish which just happens to be made from the grocery item you were looking for.

Was this your original intension? From the place of the ego it would be a failure-you still didn’t find the grocery item you set out to find in the form you desired. The truth is (your root thought) you wanted to consume it. If you let go of the thought of failure and look back on the events you will see your intentions worked out perfectly-in fact you got more than the ego bargained for. When you work from a higher level of consciousness you will know things always work out favorably-intention brings opportunity which brings success. You may have forgotten certain aspects of what you desired, but opportunity in time brings them all together in place-the right time and place.

Even when success is not immediate, you will get what you desire as long as you maintain the power of intention. Your intention will bring what you desire when the opportunity for its greatest rewards are ready for manifestation. We often consider our failure when we try to control our success. To be truly successful at creating, you must allow the spirit to create it without the interference of your mind-know that it will happen and it will. The creation process itself is too complicated for the physical mind to comprehend. The only thing you need to know are the three steps-thought, word, and deed. Imagine what you desire, declare it is what you wish to create and know you have it. That is so simply, yet it is too complicated for most conscious minds to comprehend. Most people when told of this process will first consider the failure of it-and it is what they will experience. It’s just too simple, nothing works like that, they will snap their fingers and say-”see, I told you.”

With practice one will be able to snap ones fingers and create on demand-once you let go of the notion you cannot. Your history texts and holy scripts are full of these stories. In hind site you will find these experiences in your own life. The only other thing getting in your way of this kind of success is your belief you “do not deserve” and somebody else does. This you will also experience successfully.

The universe is perfect, what you consider to be your creator is perfect, therefore the systems which are in place-the natural laws are perfect. Humanity comes into conflict with them because he does not understand the perfection. All things are created from mind, therefore all things are possible-you are mind-all things you imagine are possible unless you believe they are not.

Seven years ago I went bankrupt from a successful business. I lost sight of my success and refocused on poverty as the way of obtaining spiritual enlightenment-stupid move-you don’t have to be poor to be spiritually aware. However, it was the path I chose. One of the greatest motivators of any belief system is it can be demonstrated that it works and brings you all that you desire.

In hindsight I can plainly see all things worked together to bring me the success I am enjoying today. I went from digging out coins in the phone both returns to buy supper-to publishing my first printed book this year. The book is now distributed in six difference countries and it’s only the beginning. I have finished my next book and have started on the third-there are seven more to come. I had no writing experience when I started and the process has been a great learning experience and a lot of hard work.

As much as I have learned spiritually in the last seven years, I still have years of negativity to overcome or let go of. The system has clearly worked for me and it is observable. The only limitations to what I can create come from the years of being told I cannot have anything that I desire-but mostly from the fear of failure.

When I started out on my spiritual quest I let go of any thoughts of what I was experiencing as being “crazy” or “insane.” I was, and still am willing to go there if it is what it takes. My books, ebooks and articles and now my work shops are filled with these thoughts that for many are controversial, pushing the limits, or for some just plain blasphemous.

From what may have appeared as failure come new insights, and new awareness I have always shared with others. The failure was not as it seemed at all-what I have achieved could not have been accomplished any other way. All turns brought me to this place I now find myself in. This does not exclude me from life, but brings me closer to it, to its magnificence and perfection. Once again I am reminded of the Buddhist saying, “Before enlightenment comes chopping wood and carrying water-after enlightenment comes chopping wood and carrying water.” There are no failures in life unless you believe there are. All failures are successful steps leading to something better. Once you have obtained failure, success is the next step.

In every step you call failure are the seeds to your next success. Learn to see all the things you do in your lifetime as successful, and success is all you will experience. Failure is just a word-it is how you experience it that makes the difference. Even people who demonstrate abundance and success have failed if what they have created has not brought them what they truly desired. It is simply a demonstration of what they have chosen to manifest success. It may be a process of elimination and not an end unto itself.

It is not possible to accurately judge the choices of others-what appears failure to one is actually success in progress to another. Self judgment is worse than any judgment declared by another because it is personal and you believe it. Judgment by another is simply a demonstration of personal thoughts and is not your truth. Judgment is never a correct observation of any circumstance.

Failure is merely success in motion-learn to accept it, and know it is leading to something better.

Hindus have praised Church of Norway for launching a sustainability reform.

Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, applauded Church of Norway’s powerful stand on environment challenging national and diocesan councils, parishes and local joint church councils, individuals, and Government and the Parliament to make environmental reform efforts.

Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, said that it was commendable for the Church Synod to try to persuade parishes to become “greener” and local joint church councils to be “environmental lighthouses”, individuals to “make a personal climate promise”, Government and Parliament to make the petroleum extraction carbon neutral, etc.

Faiths coming out in support of the environment was a remarkable signal, Rajan Zed said and urged all world religious leaders, religions and denominations to openly bless the environmental causes. Ancient Hindu scriptures, especially Atharva-Veda, were highly respectful of mother nature, he added.

We may believe in different religions, yet we share the same home—our Earth. We must learn to happily progress or miserably perish together. For man can live individually but can only survive collectively, Zed says quoting scriptures.

Christianity came to Norway around 1000 AD, from the British Isles, Germany and Friesland. Church of Norway, with about 1,600 churches/chapels, and with King as its constitutional head, can be defined as a State church with an Episcopal and a Synodical structure. Hinduism, oldest and third largest religion of the world, has about one billion adherents and moksha (liberation) is its ultimate goal.

Earth’s crust and poles wander, drift and shift: Dangerous days ahead?

Planet Earth (III) by Aaron Escobar

Planet Earth (III) by Aaron Escobar

By Steve Hammons September 8, 2006

Have the Earth’s frozen poles wandered, drifted or shifted in the ancient past?

Has the planet’s outer crust moved, a little or a lot, millions or even thousands of years ago?

Was the continent of Antarctica always at the South Pole and covered by ice?

These types of questions have been the subject of much research and speculation. The ideas of crustal movement over the fluid layer of molten rock that lies beneath the hard surface layer of our planet have been called “true polar wander,” “pole drift,” “pole shift” and “crustal displacement.”

The concept of pole wander and drift was the subject of a scientific research paper in the September-October edition of the Geological Society of America Bulletin.

A geological team led by Princeton University’s Adam Maloof and Galen Halverson of Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, France, claims that our planet did experience a significant pole rebalancing approximately 800 million years ago.

Part of their research involved testing magnetic minerals within ancient rocks located in the sediment in Norway.

Maloof and Halverson claim that the North Pole has shifted more than 50 degrees (approximately about the distance between the equator and Alaska) in less than 20 million years.

WHEN? HOW OFTEN? HOW FAST?

Much of the debate about these “Earth changes” concepts involves the amount of wander, drift or shift and how long ago it may have occurred.

Additional speculation centers on whether the Earth’s crust periodically shifts to rebalance itself, and whether this has happened many times in the ancient past.

Does a movement of the crust involve relatively slight changes and adjustments as the planet rotates on its axis and in its orbit around the sun?

Or, has the crust slid and shifted dramatically and violently over the liquid magma below the surface, significantly realigning the location of continents and oceans?

Theories have been put forth over the past decades claiming that areas of the Earth that had once been the polar ice caps changed their position and became warmer areas. The ice caps suddenly melted before new ones refroze, and a great flood occurred.

The current ice caps formed at the new cold, pole positions. Some continents and seas that had been in temperate latitudes with mild climates suddenly got very cold, very fast, according to these kinds of views.

Frozen animals unearthed from under snow and ice have been found with tropical plants in their stomachs.

Variations on pole shift theories include speculation that as Earth revolves in its orbit around the sun, year after year, century after century, it slightly changes its angle along the way. It tilts on its axis a little bit more and more, and this is simply a natural process.

The natural pole shift theory includes views that Earth periodically gets to a point when this tilt becomes so heavy that momentum suddenly shifts the outer crust of the Earth off its previous axis. The outer crust slides and shifts over the fluid molten layer beneath.

But, instead of happening over hundreds of millions of years, it happens suddenly and dramatically over a period of days, weeks and months, some researchers speculate.

In addition, this natural shift happens every so many thousands of years, not millions, according to these views.

And when this occurs, weather and climate for most areas of the planet suddenly change, the old poles melt and new areas are quickly frozen over.

Theories of these periodic crustal shifts include the factors of very significant earthquakes, volcanic activity and tsunamis that would accompany such sudden movement of the Earth’s crust.

In fact, such a movement of the crust would be so violent that impact on human civilization as we know it would be extreme.

Intensely violent earthquakes would affect virtually the whole planet. Volcanic gas, ash and debris would fill the atmosphere. Huge tsunamis would crash into coastlines around the world.

ANCIENT MAPS AND CIVILIZATIONS

Legends from several cultures indicate that such a huge catastrophe happened in the ancient past.

Some pole shift theorists allege that historical tales about descriptions of the Earth shaking, the sudden movement of the stars in the sky, dramatic flooding and the darkening of the skies all match a long-ago crustal shift.

Prophesies of different kinds also have predicted some kind of similar event. The Mayan calendar, Hopi beliefs and other cultural indicators are sometimes cited to describe views that such an event is going to occur again, and maybe soon.

In the case of the Mayans and Hopis, the prediction of some kind of event like this is framed as being part of the normal course of the Earth’s and Nature’s cycles. It could even be viewed as a kind of natural destruction and renewal, or maybe a cleansing or sorts.

And, the time frame for this natural and periodic change in the planet’s crust is sometimes predicted to be in the early twenty-first century. The year 2012 is put forth by some.

Other ideas include questions about whether a pole shift in ancient human history nearly wiped out previous cultures and civilizations.

Some researchers have looked at different archeological and anthropological clues around the world. These clues may indicate that advanced human cultures developed long before the time frames for the origins of human civilization on Earth that we currently believe.

These unknown, ancient cultures may have been virtually destroyed by the pole shift of their time, and only fragments of and clues about their existence remain, according to some theories.

One of the most interesting set of circumstances is in regard to the continent we call Antarctica, now under the ice cap at the South Pole. Ancient maps have been found that show details of the coastline and geography of Antarctica.

The mystery in these maps is that the coastline and geographic details of Antarctica were unknown until ice-penetrating radar was used by the U.S. military to map the coastline in the second half of the twentieth century.

As the theory goes, ancient mariners must have mapped the coastline in detail at a time when it was obviously free of the ice that now covers it. This indicates that the large continent of Antarctica was at one time in a more temperate latitude, then shifted to the South Pole.

RELATED THEORIES AND PREPARATIONS

Variations on these ideas include a crustal shift triggered by some other geological factors, such as shift of weight from volcanic activity or changes in the massive weight of the ice at the current poles.

Some speculate that the magnetic pull of alignments of other planets and forces in our solar system could contribute to tipping the balance of Earth’s crust off of the current axis.

These kinds of views give a whole new meaning to the term “climate change.” According to many indications and apparently valid research, we will be experiencing significant weather and climate changes in the coming years.

There may be “global warming” and/or there may be significant cooling in some parts of the world.

Torrential rains in some regions and extreme drought in others may also be in our future.

In addition to planning for these kinds of challenges, which could be disastrous in themselves, some people apparently believe we would be wise to plan for a possible crustal displacement and the changes such an event would bring.

The earthquakes from such a development could make “The Big One,” when the San Andreas Fault in California breaks loose, look tame by comparison.

Major infrastructure and most buildings and man-made structures around the world would be damaged or destroyed, such would be the level of violence of a significant crustal shift.

Coastal cities and communities around the world could be devastated by tsunamis.

Agriculture might be severely impacted by both sudden change in latitudes of farming areas as well as blockage of sunlight from volcanic debris in the atmosphere, causing food shortages.

Some areas where people now enjoy a temperate climate might suddenly be near new polar areas, and humans living there would need to quickly escape or freeze, according to worst-case scenarios of pole shift theories.

As our scientific community makes further progress in understanding the past, present and future developments involving the planet, maybe these frightening views will be put to rest.

Or, maybe we will discover that these possibilities are something we should seriously consider and plan for.

After all, our survival and the continuation of human civilization on Earth could be at stake.

UFOs and ET activities: Blessing, threat or both?

UFOs and ET activities: Blessing, threat or both?

By Steve Hammons

Tonight’s ABC special “UFOs: Seeing is Believing” is a follow-up to the 2005 program “Peter Jennings Reporting – UFOs: Seeing Is Believing.”

The program tonight will provide updated information on certain UFO incidents and offer various perspectives.

But will the show examine the deeper and more complex aspects of this situation?

What many people seem to wonder about is the apparent secrecy, security and restrictions on information regarding the UFO situation that may have begun as early as 1947 and the alleged crash of an extraterrestrial craft near Roswell, New Mexico.

Are there legitimate reasons for this security? Are the reasons faulty? Is there a combination of both intelligent reasons and troubling justifications for the alleged intense security surrounding the topic?

RECENT EVENTS

Tonight’s ABC show will look into the highly unusual incidents and circumstances of sightings in Stephenville, Texas, that appeared to have occurred primarily early in 2008. Secrecy has reportedly been involved in the Stephenville incidents.

Several law enforcement officers and other very reliable witnesses reported sighting a large object, sometimes at very low altitude. Others saw highly unusual lights in the distance.

The object or objects were caught on video cameras mounted on police car dashboards. Some officers made a detailed sketch. One officer reportedly used his radar gun and tracked the speed of a low-altitude object. (It was not speeding at the time, going 27 mph according to published reports quoting the officer.)

When investigators from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) conducted a detailed radar analysis using FAA radar data for a key time frame during the cluster of Stephenville incidents, they found interesting information.

The MUFON report concluded that at least one huge object was in the area, moving at unusual speeds and traveled to within 10 miles of the Bush ranch at Crawford. The MUFON investigation also determined there seemed to be particularly heavy U.S. military aircraft activity in the area at that time.

WHY SECRECY?

An often-asked question is about the secrecy surrounding the alleged situation of UFOs and extraterrestrial and/or extra-dimensional activities involving our planet Earth.

Many explanations have been suggested.

These include the natural tendency of governments, militaries and intelligence organizations to hold sensitive information closely.

Another reason given is that advanced technologies might be available through ET visitation and that countries want to keep these secret, providing advantages for them over competing nations.

Yet another rationale is that the human “powers-that-be” who run the Earth, according to some views, want to control knowledge related to ET activities, enhancing their power and control.

This perspective includes the idea that these powers-that-be want to keep things “business as usual” regarding distribution of wealth, control of Earth’s natural resources, manipulation of wars and weapons as well as status quo management of poverty, disease, pollution, starvation, injustice and human suffering.

Equally interesting theories to explain secrecy include the idea that many Americans and other humans might not be ready to deal psychologically and emotionally with a reality that includes extraterrestrial activities here and that human societies could be damaged in very serious ways.

One of the most concerning rationales about the need for security about an alleged ET activities situation is that, although there might be “friendly” visitors, there may also be ETs who pose a grave risk to the human race. If that is the case, then standard military and intelligence security measures might be very logical, though some people might still disagree.

There are possibly other equally important considerations and details involved in the overall situation.

When the Native American Indians first received visitors and colonists from Europe – the Vikings, Spanish, French and English – they did not realize the problems that these “visitors” posed to their way of life and their very existence. Now, we realize how devastating this invasion or infiltration was to original people of the Americas. This could be a lesson to consider carefully.

MOVING THE BALL FORWARD

How can we become more informed about what might be a complex and sensitive situation, and deal with the above factors as well as many other elements that could be involved?

Becoming more informed about current research on the subject is a good start. Being both open-minded and skeptical, looking at things very carefully, is also probably helpful.

Depending on what scenario we consider, or what combinations of situations might be involved, it is often wise to “hope for the best and prepare for the worst.”

Freedom of information, like freedom of speech, has limitations. As the old adage goes, freedom of speech does not allow us to yell “Fire!” in a crowded theatre.

Today, many people demand “full disclosure” about what they think is an important and hidden situation about ET activities. This is understandable, natural and in many ways, admirable and worthwhile. Obtaining more information is often helpful in making decisions and getting a solid understanding of any situation. Then, strategies can be developed to cope with a changing situation.

In fact, it could be that disclosure and “acclimation” about such a scenario are already underway and have been for decades. We are being told about the state of the situation … if we just open our eyes and our minds.

If it is a national security and international security scenario, we must be sensitive to and intelligent about how various aspects of it are handled. Defensive measures might be appropriate.

If a “culture shock” or let’s say a “culture impact” were to take place related to ET visitation, infiltration or some other kind of contact from one or several other species of beings, what can we do to try to make it a constructive impact that preserves the best of humanity, and also helps us make progress in the future?

Some steps might include taking stock of the uniqueness of humans and Earth. It truly is a beautiful planet, filled with life and with great potential. Various human societies, groups and individuals have done great things and we have a rich cultural history.

That said, human history and the current state of affairs are problematic in many ways. There is plenty of room for improvement.

To psychologically and emotionally prepare for the possibility that extraterrestrial activities of various kinds may be underway, maybe we need to hold on tight to those positive aspects of humanity and our cultures while recognizing our serious failings too.

By considering a comprehensive number of factors and dynamics in play, and the seriousness and sensitivity of possible ET activities, we can try to make future developments turn out as constructively as possible.

Review – Hamish Miller on the Parallel Community (DVD)

Reality Films

Hamish Miller on the Parallel Community is a visual delight that looks at Earth energy, dowsing, near death experiences, ancient ancestors, spiritual cleansing, alternate realities and a new global movement called the Parallel Community.

Shot mostly outdoors in West Cornwall UK, anyone watching this DVD will have to agree that Miller seems to be a very happy, likable fellow very much in tune with nature.

He tells of his former life as a highly successful entrepreneur where complying with the conventional work ethic gave him everything… but happiness.

One day he was driving along and saw a stunning sunset. Miller wished he had time to enjoy it and suddenly realized that he did. So he stopped the car, got out watched the natural beauty unfold.

This and other pivotal experiences have contributed to this fascinating man’s metamorphosis from international businessman to mellow blacksmith and unofficial leader of the Parallel Community, of a group of kindred spirits interested in living in harmony with the Earth.

Among his many recollections, Miller’s personal account of a near-death experience is extremely convincing, as is his recounting of a serious illness where he envisions sacred beings helping to make him well again.

This DVD is so unconventional that it really is a breath of fresh air, even if, as is the case with this reviewer, one remains unconvinced about dowsing.

But this caveat should by no means deter one from exploring Miller’s ideas. He’s an engaging, innovative figure who just might be a herald for a better future.

Catholics to have serious dialogue with Hindus and others

Autumnal Faith

by paulbence photography (CCL)

Special to Earthpages.org

Catholics will have a serious dialogue with Hindus and other religions during the Annual Diocesan Conference of Reno (Nevada, USA) Catholic Diocese in January next.

According to Father Charles T. Durante, Pastor of Saint Teresa of Avila Catholic Church of Carson City, it will include dialogue among leaders of Muslim, Protestant, Hindu, and Jewish faiths besides Catholic. The Conference will be held on January ninth and tenth.

Invited religious figures include acclaimed Hindu leader Rajan Zed, Reverend V. James Jeffrey, Rabbi Myra Soifer and Imam Abdul Rahim Barghouthi, besides Durante.

Catholic Diocese of Reno, established in 1931, covers 70,852 square miles spread in eleven Nevada counties in addition to Carson City. Before 1840, this area was under the Diocese of Sonora in Mexico, when it came under the jurisdiction of Bishop Moreno of California. Current Bishop is Most Reverend Randolph R. Calvo.

Rajan Zed has congratulated the Catholic Diocese efforts in reaching out to other religions for a dialogue. “Religion is a complex component of human life. Dialogue helps us to see interconnections and interdependencies between religions and even similarities in doctrines,” Zed adds.
