We do know that Frightening Near Death Experiences (FNDEs) are rare, but it has been hard to determine the exact frequency at which they occur.

Could frightening Near Death Experiences be harder to track because those experiencing them are doing bad things and reluctant to come clean?

Perhaps some with frightening experiences (drug-induced, dreamed, or NDEs) are being warned and should stop and ask themselves, what the hell am I doing?
